As most of you will already know, many Royal Mail staff have been taking part in a series of strikes over the past few months.
We wholeheartedly support the strikes, but we want to make sure our customers are aware there may be some disruptions to normal delivery services and that your orders are likely to take a bit longer than usual to get to you.
We'll be keeping this blog post up to date with strike dates as we're made aware of them to keep you in the loop as much as possible.
The strikes vary by day as different factions of Royal Mail strike, with some days all factions striking together (delivery, network and processing). Regardless of which faction is striking on any given day, it is undoubtedly going to have a knock on effect on the system as a whole.
We recommend using tracked shipping during November & December for peace of mind with your order.
Below are a list of confirmed strike dates so far-
November: 30
December: 1, 9, 11, 14, 15, 23, 24
As we've already mentioned, we absolutely support the postal strikes and whilst they will cause significant disruption over the festive period, we just want to remind you to be patient and kind to your posties- we're all in this together!
