Between 2019 and 2021, Toronto-based artist and illustrator Patrick Kyle self-published Baby, a series of unique comics pondering existence, meaning, and continuity with an absurdist and compassionate sense of humour. Kyle's style is all-encompassing, with overlapping panels, transversal line work, and graphic patterning that force the reader to become a quiet witness to Baby's weird, mildly claustrophobic, and amusing change.
